Margré de Vries BSc(hons)Acupuncture, DipBSS shiatsu, MACS
I qualified in Shiatsu in London in 1995 (British school of Shiatsu-Do) and subsequently trained in acupuncture and Chinese herbal remedies at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, graduating with an honours degree from the University of Kingston in 2006.
As a registered member of the Acupuncture Society I abide by its code of ethics and safe practice. Continued professional development (CPD) are an integral part of my professional life as a Chinese Medicine practitioner.
Healing arts came naturally to me; I realised early I had a feel for what was going on for someone, through my hands or other perception I can sense where the issues are. Training in shiatsu and acupuncture gave me a deeper understanding of the body’s energy flow and how to enhance it.
Being out in nature is a source of nourishment for me, especially being active in it.I enjoy gardening, running, swimming, walking, cycling and playing tennis. This spring I ran the Big Vitality half marathon as a fundraiser for a local charity.
